This is an example of a formal garden. Used are evergreen topiaries which create symmetry; shrubs for color and texture; and decorative stone to tie the hardscaping to the landscaping.

This pond has two streams. One stream is shorter with rapids. The other is a slower 'lazy river'. The pond is 4' deep, and the homeowner enjoys his Carp, Blue Gills, turtles, and frogs.

This client did not want any lawn for her newly built home. Being a large area to work with, different textures and colors of stones and mulches were used to create definition in the site. (the owner installed her own plants to finish the design).
